Corpus Christi Parish is that portion of the People of God gathered in Shiloh where all are welcome. A Eucharistic community bound together by our faith in Jesus Christ called to evangelize all ages, especially our youth and called to the healing ministry of service to the poor and marginalized. We are also called to be a voice of hope by serving with humility, mercy and faithfulness; witnessing to the goodness in every person.

Sick of the Parish

That the sick and suffering find courage, strength and consulation in Christ and his Cross.

Our prayers go out to the sick of the parish especially Jeanette Boyer, Kim Fairbairn, Fr Bill Hitpas, Jerome Kern, Curt Reno, Fr Carl Schrage, Fr Jim Thomas, those with cancer, and those with mental and chronic illnesses.

This Weekend

Feast of the Holy Family of Jesus, Mary and Joseph

Jesus' three days in the temple foreshadow his passion. As events like this happen in Jesus' life, Mary wrestles with her own understanding of her call as his mother. There are moments like this in our own lives-in parenthood, marriage, professional life, ministry in the church, working for justice-that stir our hearts in uncomfortable ways. Our task is to notice them, take them to prayer, and keep our hearts open to what God may be calling us to do.
