Corpus Christi Parish is that portion of the People of God gathered in Shiloh where all are welcome. A Eucharistic community bound together by our faith in Jesus Christ called to evangelize all ages, especially our youth and called to the healing ministry of service to the poor and marginalized. We are also called to be a voice of hope by serving with humility, mercy and faithfulness; witnessing to the goodness in every person.

Sick of the Parish

That the sick and suffering find courage, strength and consulation in Christ and his Cross.

Our prayers go out to the sick of the parish especially Jeanette Boyer, John Carlson, Kim Fairbairn, Mary Grimmer, Fr Bill Hitpas, Jerome Kern, Curt Reno, Fr Carl Schrage, Fr Jim Thomas, those with cancer, and those with mental and chronic illnesses.

The Nativity of the Lord

While today new parents might text their close family and friends when their child is born, God chose to use a choir of angels to let shepherds know. Perhaps God was ensuring that Jesus would have shepherds in his life, given how heavily he would lean on their example for his own ministry one day. As parents and loving adults, we too can invite and accept invitations to care for our children together, ensuring they grow up with models for following Jesus.
